- mostly in sun exposed areas
- or in skin folds, provoced by chronic irritations
- in some cases agressive growth
- low rate of metastasation

Squamous cell carcinoma or SCC of the lips

- provoced by smoking or chronic irritations (glass blower)
- in some cases agressive growth
- some rate of metastasation

Keratoakanthoma

- a subtype of squamous cell carcinoma
- sometimes fast growing
- sometimes self-healing
- but quite uncertain dignity
- should be surgically removed completely
